I am a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Odyssey Archaeological Research Fund at the Kansas Geological Survey and completed my PhD in Anthropology at the University of Kansas (May 2025). My work focuses on Late Pleistocene North America, and I have worked in a wide variety of regions from far West Texas to the Arctic. I am a lithic analyst with a strong interest in methodological development within archaeology. Beyond traditional approaches to lithic analysis, I work at the intersection of archaeology and ancient DNA (aDNA). I am interested in tools as adaptations and leveraging the capacity of aDNA methods to better analyze the tools used by past peoples.
