About Beth
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Odyssey Archaeological Research Fund at the Kansas Geological Survey. I recently completed my PhD in Anthropology at the University of Kansas. My work focuses on Late Pleistocene North America, and I have worked in a wide variety of regions. I am a lithic analyst with a strong interest in methodological development for archaeology. Beyond traditional approaches to lithic analysis, I work at the intersection of archaeology and ancient DNA (aDNA). I am interested in tools as adaptations and leveraging the capacity of aDNA methods to better analyze the tools used by past peoples.
